Helen opened the doors of the 79 St Giles Street, Northampton hairdressers salon in 2011 with the aim of bringing affordable luxury to Northampton. Having worked in the local hairdressing market for the past 17 years, Helen could see that many local salon’s were moving in the direction of super-cool over friendliness and price over service. This created an opportunity for Barbarella to arrive on the local scene and provide high-end services but with friendly, old-school, values. Since then, with the growing teams contribution the business has won multiple hairdressing and business awards and a larger flagship salon at 72 St Giles Street
